Role: Technical Business Analyst
Location: Bardon
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 pa
Hours: Full time 37.5 hrs per week
We are now looking for a Technical Business Analyst to work in partnership with other team members within Information Technology. You will provide strong business analysis skills and help translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible collecting requirements from the business, identifying needs and solutions to help drive the company forward. You will work closely with various departments, including finance, supply chain, sales and operations, to gather and develop recommendations for improving business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify IT requirements and understand their impact on business processes.
- Analyse and document business processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and develop functional specifications and user requirements for IT solutions.
- Work with development teams to ensure that solutions are developed in accordance with business requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users on IT solutions.
- Monitor IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Work with project management teams to ensure that IT projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide recommendations to senior management on IT strategy and direction
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT business analysis.
- Experience working with software development teams and agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with business process modelling and analysis.
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
- Previous experience of working in a healthcare or supply chain environment would be preferable.
