The ICG Documents Technology group is expanding its team to help Citi simplify and standardize the way the bank manages documents through automating critical processes and digitizing documents using Artificial Intelligence machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (classification, extraction, etc.). Documents Technology is part of the Innovation Lab at Citi Information Services Group(ISG). The team is looking for an individual contributor who is talented, creative, and experienced business analyst, who will bridge between developer teams, data scientists, the business, Citi remote teams and stakeholders through requirements, backlog and planning to the highest standards - on time, on budget and with quality. The Technology Business Analyst will analyze business requirements, conceptualize, and help in designing the solution while working in partnership with business, operations, and technology units across Citi to provide cutting edge solutions including Artificial Intelligence techniques to deliver digitization, and automation to the Bank’s document management processes. This requires a highly experienced business analyst who has a proven track record of delivering requirements for highly scalable robust applications that use the latest tools and technologies while working on all phases of the development life cycle. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential. Responsibilities: Operate as a bridge between the Business and technical teams. Supports the Program and Project Managers with the creation of functional & non-functional specifications (epics, user stories, wireframes etc.) Specification of both functional and non-functional requirements, demonstrating a clear understanding of the impact on technical design and solution use and usability, especially with reference to the user experience and interface Understanding, clarification and documentation of the existing business process, interactions with technical solutions and data flows Identification of areas of process inefficiency, solution deficiency and opportunity, advocation of continual process improvement and business process re-engineering Diagrammatic representation of solutions for executive, business and technical audiences including the development of workflows, swim lanes and other mapping techniques Design and documentation of user guides, reference / help sheets and knowledge base material, user test cases, scenarios, and plans. Qualifications: Experience of requirements elicitation, requirements management, requirements analysis, solution assessment and validation Demonstrable experience in analyzing data, writing user stories and business process modelling Demonstrable track record of delivery of technical projects Excellent communication skills– oral, written, presentation skills. Ability to explain complex requirements in simple words. Ability to work and adapt in a fast-moving industry Advanced problem solving and analytical skills. Experience of using JIRA to track requirements / stories Experience of working in a globally distributed team, working in different time zones Good team player and works collaboratively Nice to have Skills Background of software development Experience with SQL or data analysis and visualization technique Business Analysis certification like CBAP from IIBA or BA certification from PMI Agile Certification - Scrum Master / Product Owner is a plus Lean Six Sigma Experience of relevant financial background of capital markets or regulatory background Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience Master's degree preferred Job Family Group: Technology Job Family: Business Analysis / Client Services Time Type: Full time Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
