Admiral Money are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join their growing Specialist Mortgages team!
About Admiral Money
Admiral Money is an exciting, new division of Admiral Group. We have the freedom and innovation of a small start up with the security of a large parent company, Admiral.
The journey started when we launched unsecured personal loans in June 2017. We went on to be the first direct to consumer car finance provider in December 2017. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength and have some exciting plans for the future.
We’re looking for people who are keen to learn, excited about getting stuck in and are ready for a challenge to help us to achieve our aim of creating a special lending business for our customers.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new and growing team that embodies the disruptive spirit of a start-up. With a Vision of revolutionising the secured lending industry by driving innovation, enabling unparalleled speed of lending, and cultivating strong partnerships, you will have plenty of opportunity to make a real impact.
The work will vary from day to day as we continually deliver improvements to our digital first Specialist Mortgage proposition. With ambitious plans to broaden our product range and to attain significant market share through a proposition that meets both broker and customers needs; your role in delivering best in market customer experience will be a key driver of our success.
Part of the Product Team, you will work collaboratively with the wider Mortgages team. The team will have a mixed skillset, so we don't expect you to be a master of everything involved, although having a passion to learn is essential. The role will work closely with the Product Owner who will define priorities in support of proposition delivery and growth plans.
The Mortgages Technical Business Analyst may be a little different to other business analyst roles you have seen. We work “through the lifecycle” so you will have the opportunity to not just shape and define changes, but to also prove and embed them, seeing your work come to life. This will involve assessing new suppliers and technologies; driving requirements for features and new product development; trying out and testing potential changes; supporting the business with their adoption and then assessing broker and customer feedback. We will have the ability to make some simpler changes ourselves and will partner with our IT squad and the supplier for larger scale or more technical change.
Strong analytical skills combined with a sense of curiosity will help you build on your existing mortgages knowledge and become a subject matter expert in our proposition and product. You’ll drive ongoing improvements and support decision making through analysis and discovery work with existing and new third parties. Comfortable leading workshops, you’ll solicit the input of suppliers, the wider team and other stakeholders and bring people along with the development, and ultimately delivery of the changes.
