Siemens Mobility Limited, we are looking for a Technical Assistant for our Rail Infrastructure business. The role of the Technical Assistant will be to assist Design team for document control, issuing and digital storage of Signalling Designs.
This role is a full-time permanent role working 37 hours per week based at our York site.
What are my responsibilities?
- Assist with production of Design Specifications and associated Project Documentation.
- Production of site documentation from Production Office Copies.
- Assist with scanned documentation to produce sets of design documentation required to be transferred between different engineering sites.
- Produce documentation for Issue Control Logs.
- Assist with production and upkeep of the Project Document Register
- Assist with the production of correlation prints.
- Produce transmittal documentation
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Essential: Deep understanding and practical application of Microsoft Excel, a sound knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word.
- Useful: Knowledge of Design Control Process, Cab-i-Net, (Training will be given).
