CAN is a major Inspection/Integrity Management Contractor in the North Sea and internationally, dedicated to improving Asset Reliability.
We are recruiting for a Technical Assistant based at our Aberdeen ENGTEQ Office.

The role is to provide technical administrative assistance as part of our Technical Services Team.
Candidates should possess the following:
- English and Mathematics to National 4 / equivalent or higher (essential)
- Proficient understanding of PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project Planner (essential)
- Experience in an Administrative role
- Oil and Gas industry experience in a similar role (desirable although not essential)
- Experience of using databases (preferred)
- Good numerical and analytical skills (essential)
- Experience in a technical environment with P&ID’s, Isometrics, Structural drawings (desirable)
- Good organisational and time management skills
Duties include:
- Support the Technical Services Team by providing general administration and technical assistance to the team leads and job responsible engineers.
- Preparation of Integrity work packs for piping, structures and vessels.
- Marking up structural and piping technical drawings, marking test points and P&IDs for inspection action.
- Data input using various integrity software packages
- General filing and administration duties as required
