You will be immersed in a stimulating design and manufacturing environment. Over the course of 3 years, you will study towards an HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with the possibility of attaining an HND should you be eligible.

You will also attain a level 4 standard, which will run alongside the HNC course, gaining both academic knowledge and practical experience on this apprenticeship.

What will you be doing?

During your apprenticeship you will have a unique chance to experience different areas of our space craft business which provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how Airbus Defence & Space works. This includes the following:

Working in small teams or on a one-to-one basis to develop, use and maintain advanced production techniques for Spacecraft Electronics.

Design, engineer or manufacture Spacecraft structures, propulsion systems and Mechanisms using the latest space approved processes.

Perform and monitor simulations of the launch environment and space environmental conditions to test flight assemblies or component parts.

Work on cutting edge technologies like growing the world’s purest crystals for use in zero gravity conditions.

About you!

Please note, we love your interest in working for Airbus but we do ask that you make only one application. Ensuring that a covering letter detailing motivations and suitability for this position is included in your application.

One application: Make It Possible, Make It Happen, Make It ...Count!

We are looking for the following skills:
