Summary of Position:
You’ll be joining as an Analytics Engineer responsible for building solutions for some of the most complex problems we face leveraging DS/ML. Your work will have a direct impact on the business and will continuously interface with users on the solutions and products you build. You will learn best practices on building Analytics/ML solutions and be exposed to the software development lifecycle as well. This position is for an individual who can think creatively and is a continuous curious learner.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The following represents most of the duties performed by the position but is not meant to be all-inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental, and safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies.
As an Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Being a creative problem solver that can approach difficult problems from different perspectives.
- Building and deploying DS/Analytics solutions to solve some of the most complex problems in our organization utilizing R/Python.
- Supporting the automation of manual workflows across the organization.
- Helping build and maintain core dashboards in Spotfire for various teams to derive business insights
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
- Have experience in Spotfire.
- Have experience in Python/R.
- Have experience in building custom solutions.
- Be able to give presentations to all levels of the business.
- Be able to communicate effectively and have the ability to interact with various stakeholders at various levels.
