About The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join our Team.
Primarily, this role is to provide support to the Technical team on site. From time to time there will be a requirement to work closely with Commercial and Operations.
Training will be provided to adapt to our technical systems
We offer family friendly hours of work. The hours for this role are 9:30am – 4.30pm, Monday - Friday
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the QA team (e.g sampling product for intake, completing traceability, label generation, etc.)
- Assisting the Technical Director as required
- Admin support for Technical
- Ensuring that launched products are tested/evaluated at the end of life against the routine testing plan
- Nutritional Product Specification Formulation, reviews and updates
- Updating and improving Quality Management Systems
What are we looking for?
- Food industry experience preferred
- Allergen knowledge and practical application preferred
- Food Hygiene/HACCP qualification preferred
- Experience with BRCGS quality management systems preferred
- Good planning and organisational skills - able to co-ordinate projects against strict timelines
- Ability to multitask
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Hardworking and the ability to make decisions when necessary
- Proactive approach, thinking ‘outside of the box’ and not just acting on instruction
- Microsoft IT skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook - essential
- Enthusiastic approach to work
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £11.50-£13.00 per hour

Education:
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Technical Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
