Job description - Software Analyst
In this role, the company are looking for Software Analysts to join the team and be a part of the continual evolution of their technical systems and rollout of software to clients. The team is responsible for the implementation of internal applications to new clients both software and TPA, whilst also maintaining the model processes provided, including legislative changes, ongoing maintenance and new developments.
It is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the team that is not only responsible for the core configuration of international technical systems, but also working closely with the ongoing development of the system, this includes contributing to development plans, reviewing enhancement requests, rollouts and producing prototypes for new functionality.
Key responsibilities – Software Analyst
In this Software Analyst role in London, your responsibilities will include:
- Working across all aspects of the software application.
- Liaising with clients (both internal and external) to understand their requirements
- Analysing, documenting and estimating client requirements.
- Configuring and testing the application.
- Enhancing and developing the software.
- Improving the implementation practices and procedures.
- A 2.1 from university in a relevant subject area. Preferred degrees include computer science, software engineering, digital and technology solutions based studies
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Ability to learn new technical skills
- Be self-motivated, demonstrating tenacity and objectivity in problem solving to get the job done effectively.
- Ability to effectively time-manage and prioritise across a range of tasks.
- Keen sense of observation and demonstrable analytical skills.
