Salary Details: £28,030.98 - £30,633.05

The Apprenticeship Directorate is looking for a qualified and experienced assessor in Engineering. Predominately working with Refrigeration and Air Conditioning apprentices within Northumberland College (Ashington Campus), this exciting role will also work as part of the wider team to support other Engineering apprenticeship standards.
This role will work alongside curriculum staff teaching the day release element by engaging with employers and apprentices in their workplace, conducting progress reviews and being the main point of contact for apprentices. Applicants for this post should have drive, enthusiasm, possess excellent interpersonal, I.T. and organisational skills and be mobile throughout the northeast region as this role involves travelling to employer premises and working across college sites.
We would welcome applications from occupationally competent staff that have a proven record and experience of the Engineering environment with industry knowledge.
Applicants for this post should be able to demonstrate in their personal statement practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.
