Applications are invited from candidates who are suitably qualified and experienced in secretarial work to join our busy Respiratory secretarial team. The successful candidate will provide support to the Long-Term Oxygen Therapy Team in Respiratory Medicine at North Tyneside General Hospital.
The successful applicant will be required manage home visits by coordinating the nurse's diaries whilst considering the locality of each appointment across the Northumberland & North Tyneside areas. You will book all appointments and reconcile the clinical activity using the Trust's Patient Administration System (PAS). You will also transcribe clinical documentation using the Trusts' digital dictation system.
The post holder must be able to use their own initiative, work under pressure, keep to strict deadlines and have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. You should possess OCR / RSA 3 typewriting, word processing or equivalent experience, and knowledge of IT packages and their applications.
