A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER AT THE IMPERIAL HOTEL BLACKPOOL
What you'll be doing...
The role of FB at the Imperial Hotel is varied and exciting! You may be serving breakfast in our Palm Court Restaurant, which involves taking tea coffee orders, clearing, and relaying tables and serving our guests with a welcoming smile.
You may prefer to work dinner shifts, that’s OK! Our Palm Court Restaurant is open for dinner too. You’ll be serving our guests (both resident non-resident) from our a’la Carte menu, serving drinks, taking orders and food running too.
We also have our famous No.10 Bar and Derby Lounge, where guests can enjoy one of our fabulous cocktails or afternoon tea, alongside our extensive lounge menu.
Not forgetting our functions too, we host a variety of events, from conferences, weddings and private parties, you’ll be serving food and drinks to our guests both during the day and evenings too.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We hire mostly on personality potential but here are a few of our requirements...
To succeed in the role of Food Beverage Team Member, you will need the following qualities and skills:
- A flexible approach to working hours, we have both part-time and full-time hours available, which will include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Experience of working in a similar hospitality environment would be a distinct advantage, however not essential.
- A positive ‘can-do’ approach to guest service, with a willingness to learn new skills.
