At our proper pub sites we pride ourselves on providing a proper home for live sport, serving a proper pint and consistently offering proper pub food. We aim to create a proper, traditional pub atmosphere for our guests. Proper pubs are transparent and simple. What you see is what you get in every venue. The Minster Tavern is a traditional pub opposite the west tower of the impressive Ely Cathedral and just a stone’s throw from the main High Street shops. We are the oldest pub in Ely with a claim to be "just a little bit haunted". We host a very popular Tuesday quiz night and show all the live sport for our guests to enjoy.
