STARTING ASAP - APRIL 2023 Location: Lakeside Shopping Centre, West Thurrock, Grays Essex

Day, Evening and Weekend Shifts available

For around a decade* Love Churros* operated solely at the famous Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park London every Christmas. In the last two years our concept, product and equipment has been set at such a high standard, it has led to trading at some of the UK's best events and Festivals. We have developed a product, which has taken us on countless trips across Europe for the perfect taste along with creating a devoted churros team. All new staff members WILL BE TRAINED to have a greater understanding of our Churros and to give every customer an incredible Churros experience. Speciality coffee will also be served from the Love Churros store, so Coffee training can be provided but the candidate should ideally have coffee experience.

As a Team Member, you will assist in the smooth and efficient running of the store at Lakeside

You'll love to:

• Serve sweet offerings and operate the tills
• Display Churros to ensure sales are maximised
• Promote friendly and efficient service to our customers
• Greet customers with a great smile and warm welcome
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the Store throughout the day
• Carry out open and closedown procedures in Store
• Preparing and heating food for customers
• Making speciality coffee

Personal Skills:_*

• You must have recent experience of working in a busy cafe, coffee shop or restaurant
• You must love making high quality coffee
• You must have great customer service skills
• Hardworking, Proactive and self-motivated
• Ability to follow company procedure and deliver high standards
• Competent numerical and cash handling skills
• Able to promote a positive attitude within team

What Love Churros Offer:

We offer a workplace with a family feel. There is also the opportunity to get involved in events in the area and to work within our food trucks at this year’s biggest festivals and events in the UK.

You must be able to work weekdays, every weekend, (during summer months) and all Public/ bank and school holidays.

You must be able to communicate fluently in English (spoken and written) with customers and other staff and must be willing to undertake the appropriate training supplied by the company.

You must be willing to work weekends, all public holidays and during all the school holidays as this is when Lakeside Shopping Centre will be the busiest.

We open at 10am 7 days a week until late evening so shift work is expected. Our closing time depends on how busy the day is on that particular day.

Applicants must have valid passport which allows you the right to live and work in the UK without restrictions. You must have a British bank account, & National Insurance number.
