Job Description:
Are you an early riser who thrives on the energy of the morning? Do you have a passion for delivering exceptional service and a love for the bustling atmosphere of a busy breakfast service? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Breakfast Waiter/Waitress at The Reach, a prestigious 215-room hotel located in the heart of Piccadilly, Manchester.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and warmly welcome guests to the breakfast area, ensuring a pleasant start to their day.
- Assist guests in selecting from our delectable breakfast menu, offering recommendations and accommodating special dietary requirements.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar teams efficiently.
- Serve breakfast dishes promptly and with attention to detail, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including setting up tables and replenishing food and beverage stations.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service to enhance their breakfast experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, seeking assistance from management when necessary.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth operations and efficient service during breakfast hours.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards, following all health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a busy breakfast service environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- A positive and friendly attitude, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
