Harvey Jaxon Home Store is looking for Drivers to join our growing team!
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for making direct store deliveries to customers in the local and surrounding areas. You must be diligent, timely, and customer focused, as this is the lifeline of our business. As a delivery driver, you will be delivering appliances into customer's homes, and making the last point of contact for these customers. We want this to be the best impression that they could possibly receive, setting us apart from our competitors.
Must be willing and able to move large objects, such as refrigerators and other home appliances with great care inside of customer homes.
Must be 21+ and able to drive a box truck for deliveries, but no CDL is required.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicle
- Timely delivery of goods
- Handling of customer payments
- The ability to make repeated movements up and down a ladder
- Making 'whole body' deliveries (e.g. loading/unloading a truck and ensuring it is clean)
- Assist Delivery Supervisor during maintenance breaks and emergencies
- Installing appliances, including but not limited to appliances with minor plumbing and electrical work
