We are eagerly seeking Crew Members to join our Horticultural Team for the 2023 Spring/Summer Season!

As a Horticultural Crew Member, you will receive a competitive hourly wage between $20-23 per hour based on your skills and experience.

Job Duties:
  • Utilization of and proficiency with a variety of gardening and power tools
  • Planting of annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs
  • Installation of seasonal décor (planters, seasonal displays, annuals, fall mums)
  • Garden bed and plant maintenance including: edging, cultivating, raking, pruning, deadheading, and weeding
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures including all health & safety requirements
  • Dedication to quality customer service. You go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assisting with other crews, when needed, in turf care and general grounds maintenance

Working Conditions:
  • Duties will primarily be outdoors and may include regular exposure to varying weather conditions i.e. wet and/or humid conditions, hot and cold temperatures, snow and ice storms.
  • Physical demands include but may not be limited to standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
  • Occasional irregular hours due to unexpected circumstances and/or weather events
  • Working hours are typically 7:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Occasional weekend work may be required.

Qualifications:
  • A valid driver's license with clean drivers abstract
  • Desire to work in the horticultural/landscape industry
  • 1-2 min years experience in horticultural field an asset
  • Sufficient knowledge of plant materials, and proficient abilities to care for growing plants
  • Proficient in the use of a variety of gardening and power tools
