Ardoe House Hotel & Spa along with 7 Hospitality Management are looking for professional and service-oriented Bar team members with an impressive attitude to join us in this exciting opportunity. We are looking for permanent and zero hour roles based out of our Ardoe House Hotel & Spa property in Ardoe.
Located in 30 acres of stunning grounds, this 19th century baronial mansion of Ardoe House Hotel & Spa is the perfect destination for business or leisure. Recently refurbished, this stunning property features 120 stylish bedrooms. An excellent destination for conferences, weddings and other social gatherings with six event suites and the ability to accommodate up to 600 guests.
What will I be doing?
As a Bar Team Member for the Ardoe House Hotel, we are looking for a positive can do attitude to drive exceptional standards and guest experience. You will be responsible for the following tasks;
- Bar operations across restaurant, bar and function room
- Maintain high quality bar standards
- Ensure there is a welcoming atmosphere in the bar at all times including lighting levels, music and high standard of cleanliness
- To engage with customers and guests and to provide high level of guest service to extend their time spent in the bar
- Prepare and serve drinks to company standards and following Scottish Licensing Law
- To clear and set tables
- To ensure that all monies are kept in a safe and secure area adopting the hotels cash handling procedures
- To operate the hotel’s EPOS systems and to be fully conversant on till systems.
- To provide a warm welcome to all guests and ensure they receive excellent quality of service when in any of the F&B outlets and throughout the hotel
- To take restaurant/bar bookings
- To carry out any other ad hoc duties as directed by supervisor/management
What are we looking for?
A Bar Team Member serving 7 Hospitality Management managed hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests, Owners and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you must possess the attitudes, behaviours, skills and values that follow;
- Previous experience within same role in hotels
- Ability to provide and demonstrate exceptional guest service
- Positive can-do attitude
- Great charisma & people skills
- A good ability to manage business/workflow priorities
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Personal license is desirable
- Scottish Licensing training is desirable
