Duties and Responsibilities:
To create an environment in which Partners deliver business objectives, demonstrate the responsibilities of co-ownership and achieve personal fulfilment. To operate as part of a wider branch management team and contribute to the leadership and success of the branch. As a Team Manager, you would be working closely with other parts of the business to deliver effective results for the business unit and feeding back to inform continuous improvement. Externally, you are required to develop and grow the reputation of the John Lewis Partnership.
Job Requirements:
It will suit an individual with strong leadership and communication skills who enjoys taking ownership for achieving business and personal objectives. Attention to detail is critical in leading a team to be compliant with all food safety policies, procedures, and practices. A willingness to work flexibly across all areas of the department is essential. As you will be working closely across a wide range of Partners you will have strong stakeholder management skills and be confident in providing and questioning information. You will have experience of developing individual team members, working with them on their development plan and managing any performance issues.
