About Your Role & Team
North East Lincolnshire currently has opportunities for experienced Team Managers, working within our dedicated Children’s Services Team.
The Children in Care Team cover the whole of North East Lincolnshire and mainly work with children who have been made subject to a Full Care Order. They also work alongside young people who are no longer in our care. We work closely with the Court and Protection Teams; Residential Services; Children with Disabilities and the Fostering Service, to ensure our children can achieve their best potential, and the right permanence, so they can enjoy their childhoods. We progress and review their plans regularly, to ensure that long term care continues to be the right pathway.
The Children in Care Team are allocated a variety of children and young people and work with partnership agencies such as health, schools, IRO’s and SEND and courts to ensure that our children receive the highest level of care to achieve their best outcomes.

If this sounds like you, then please get in touch.
- You hold a fully accredited DipSW/Social Work degree (equivalent to Level 6 NQF), are registered with Social Work England and ideally have a Practice Teacher Award
- You have a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in Children’s Social Care
- Exemplary experience of complex case management including purposeful evidence-based interventions, analytical assessments and the highest quality of written work
