Location: Council House / Derby Adult Learning Service
Lead a team of Customer Service Officers to manage the operation and administration of both the Hardship Support Fund (HSF) and Maths Multiply grant funded projects.
Provide an effective and efficient referral, telephone and digital access service to customers contacting the HSF and Welfare teams in accordance with the Council’s Customer Service standards.
Manage the on-going development and delivery of the HSF and Maths Multiply projects with external partners and stakeholders to maximise grant funding to support eligible households/learners.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Provide operational leadership for the HSF grant funded scheme, ensuring integrity of the systems used to manage the delivery of identified outcomes
- Develop excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, including 3rd sector partners, to ensure timely delivery of HSF/Maths Multiply project outcomes
- Provide visible and responsive leadership to manage, motivate and develop employees to achieve project outcomes
- Co-ordinate the HSF voucher schemes, following Derby City Council financial processes and financial regulations, including reconciliation of unspent vouchers to maximise utilisation of funding
- Contribute to the maintenance, compilation and presentation of management information reports and statistics for both the HSF and Maths Multiply projects, regularly reporting performance to senior management
- Ensure promotion of schemes and activities, including public communications are managed in line with DCC policy.
