Our Private Rented Sector Licensing Service will receive and process applications from private rented sector landlords, ensure compliance and take enforcement action for unlicensed privately rented premises in Birmingham. You will be responsible for leading a team on processing the applications received and dealing with the performance and operation of your team and the start to end delivery of the process.
We are creating a new service to regulate the private rented sector within areas of Birmingham and are looking for committed, enthusiastic and dynamic leaders like you, who can provide a best-in-class service in this new arena. The service is to be the largest in the country, fitting for the second City and largest metropolitan Local Authority
You will have good knowledge of the Housing Act and experience of maximising the use of resources and delivering value for money.
