About You:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Hamleys Expert (or Team Leader) to assist the management team by motivating colleagues through clear communication and effective delegation.
The successful applicant should have a proven experience in similar role, or as an established sales assistant who is ready for the next step in their retail career.
You should be confident to run the department/store efficiently in the absence of the leadership team and is able to confidently report back to senior management of any issues. This includes being a key holder where relevant.
It is essential to be a team player and you should be supportive and flexible in implementing decisions made by the management team in needs of the business.
You are a positive role model to all Hamleys Helpers (or Sales Assistants); leading them to consistently deliver the Hamleys Experience to our customers. A bonus if you like to be in costume and enjoy being in character!
Experience in the toy retail industry is ideal but not essential.
