Lilian Faithfull Care is a well-established charity based in Gloucestershire that provides care, support and a home for Life for the elderly.
We are looking for a Team Leader to join our existing team of Nurses & carer’s at one of our care homes based in Pitchcombe, Stroud called Resthaven working 36 hours per week
All breaks paid plus additional enhancements (weekends hours additional £1 per hour. £11.02-£11.42 to £12.02-£12.42 at weekends.

Responsibilities of a Team Leader
To work with support and lead the team within the home.
- Promoting a safe and caring environment providing the highest standards of quality care in accordance with the Charities Policies whilst meeting the needs of our residents
- There’s a requirement to teach and lead by example our new staff members in all aspects of their work in the home.
- You will aid and support the management team in the monitoring supervision and training of staff in the home.
- Making a difference to each individual’s life in everything you do.
- Encouraging residents to maintain their independence as fully as possible
- Assisting with mobility, personal hygiene, dressing and feeding ensuring dignity and respect for the resident at all times
- Helping and encouraging residents to undertake these tasks for themselves as appropriate.
Requirements
- A caring individual who is compassionate about providing care and support to elderly.
- A genuine interest in working within a caring environment, to help people retain their dignity and respect their privacy.
- Have a Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a care setting
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Work well in a team
- Are flexible as shifts will include weekends and evenings on a rota basis.
