Owning this position means:

Responsibilities:

  • Using cultural, commercial & digital marketing expertise to develop the UKI Sportstyle Brand strategy that aligns to international guidelines, UKI markets and consumers
  • Develop comprehensive integrated marketing plans for all Sportstyle campaigns & projects (annual & seasonal) aligning all communication channels, including media strategies, talent acquisition and maximization, Trade marketing, PR, digital, social media, seeding strategies and consumer activations
  • Lead team across UKI who are responsible for day to day Sportstyle Brand Comms and Trade Marketing against channels of responsibility
  • Using your cultural & consumer expertise to provide strategy & guidance in brand comms across media, PR & influence, events & social media, coordinating with the team and external agencies. Develop the relationship between the brand marketing and performance marketing team to ensure successful full-funnel campaigns
  • Using your commercial marketing expertise to elevate our digital & store marketing across all UKI strategic accounts and alignment with UK DTC. Whilst specifically overseeing the Sportstyle Trade marketing strategies and plans for our strategic wholesale partners across relevant distribution channels (PUMA terminology: DC4, 5 & 6).
  • Manage marketing budgets for channel, brand and talent marketing efforts associated with responsibilities
  • Set category objectives and analyse performance with web analytics tools to evaluate marketing efforts, product sell-throughs, and opportunities to improve
  • Work cross-functionally within the company’s Sportstyle business unit & local Sales, Merchandising & DTC teams to deliver 360 UKI Sportstyle marketing plans
  • Continually maintain an awareness of digital & consumer trends and provide unique and creative solutions using this knowledge to reach & engage our target demographic
  • Ensure UKI Sportstyle grows brand desirability within the markets
  • Represent the brand and utilize the PUMA 4Keys (Fair, Honest, Positive, Creative) in all decisions, actions, processes and practices

YOUR TALENT

  • Passion for sport and lifestyle and proven marketing track record in consumer or lifestyle brand, or in agency
  • Experience using data to inform and improve future campaigns
  • Knowledge of emerging platforms in digital marketing, with creative/strategic thinking to put into action
  • Experience of managing Talent or globally recognised Sponsor brands
  • Experience with account marketing of a national account
  • Demonstrated ability to lead & develop teams and manage projects on challenging timelines
  • Excellent budget management and organisation skills
  • Very strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a global organisation
  • Strong computer skills, with knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Creative & entrepreneurial spirit and energy, proven ability to work independently and multi-task
  • Must be detail oriented, resourceful, self-motivated, self-confident and proactive
  • Ability to manage a team successfully and facilitate their personal development
  • London, UK based with frequent travel within UKI and Europe
  • Tertiary education or equivalent; strong written & verbal communication skills
