That’s because we have a great opportunity for an experienced Team Assistant or PA to join and deliver essential support to our Director of Colleague Experience and the wider People Division.

About The Role


As Team Assistant you’ll be part of an exciting team, looking to transform the way we serve colleagues. The support you provide will enable the Director of Colleague Experience and the wider team to deliver this great work, so it’s a role you can be proud of.


You’ll be responsible for a range of activities, these include:

  • Diary and inbox management for your Director, acting as a gatekeeper and managing time effectively
  • Support preparation for key meetings (such as the Remuneration Committee meeting) and undertaking key document review and proof reading, using Word and PowerPoint
  • Creating meeting agendas, taking minutes, and managing actions and follow ups
  • Arranging internal and external meetings and collaborating with Team Assistants, PA’s and Senior Leaders across the Society

Alongside this, you will be proactive in supporting the Colleague Experience Leadership Team and engage with them positively.

You’ll be working on a hybrid basis, with regular time in our Leeds and potentially Bradford offices.

About You


You’ll be an experienced and proactive Team Assistant or PA, with proven examples of embedding yourself effectively within teams and delivering excellent support to one or more directors. You’ll also have;


  • A high level of Word and PowerPoint ability, as you’ll be proof reading and formatting key reports, papers and submissions
  • Great diary and inbox management experience, with a pragmatic approach to managing and prioritising conflicting priorities and booking travel
  • You’ll be confident, flexible, self-sufficient and enjoy working with a degree of autonomy
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • The ability to build great relationships and trust with colleagues at all levels
