About the role
We are looking for a Teaching Fellow in Physics to join the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Leicester. In this role you will deliver teaching, administration and other activities to ensure that a world-class student experience is delivered to undergraduate and taught postgraduate students, through the delivery of lectures, other classes, workshops, tutorials and project supervision. You will develop and enhance our School’s reputation in its teaching activities both internal and external to our University.
The role requires delivery of a variety of types of teaching within core and optional modules of our established portfolio of integrated programmes. The key focus of the role is delivering the very best student experience and giving our graduates skills for future employability.
About you
You will be experienced in preparing and delivering high quality teaching, training or mentoring in an academic environment. You will have a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, developing productive relationships with both teachers and students. Experience of developing and delivering lectures, assessments, tutorials and lab sessions and working within Digital Learning Environments, such as Blackboard or Moodle would be beneficial.
