Job description

We wish to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Teaching Assistant to contribute to our successful and hardworking Early Years or Key Stage 2 team, providing support for individual children who have additional needs.

We are seeking to appoint someone who is energetic, talented and ambitious and who can inspire, challenge, motivate and support both children and colleagues. Contracts are term time only on a fixed term basis linked to EHCP funding and will end when the child leaves the school or the funding ceases, whichever is first.

  • Has a passionate commitment to children's learning, particularly in supporting children with SEND.
  • Will work in collaboration with class teachers and the SENCO to ensure personalised learning and development for children with SEND.
  • Is able to challenge, inspire and motivate children appropriately.
  • Has high expectations of learning, behaviour and care for all children.
  • Has excellent communication skills at all levels and is a team player.
