32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term time, plus training days
We are looking for enthusiastic, suitably qualified and experienced classroom support staff to join our school, who have a passion for education and commitment to working alongside the teachers to provide a high quality learning environment.

The main purpose of the role:
- Working alongside the teaching staff to support our young people in their learning
- Support our young people to identify, meet and exceed their education targets
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Essential requirements:
- Commitment to the role and ethos of the school
- Experience of working within an inclusive setting (3 years), including relevant knowledge and experience of young people within age range
- Experience of managing a range of approaches, including managing behaviours that challenge, skills in differentiated learning and multisensory techniques
- Good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE English and Maths – minimum grade 4 or equivalent is essential, to be tested at interview)
- NVQ qualification (level 2/3 or its equivalent)
- Competent ICT skills
- An optimistic, enthusiastic and motivated approach
- Be able to work on your own as well as part of a team
- Work collaboratively with other team members and professionals with good interpersonal skills.
