Supporting learners in small groups and on a 1:1 basis when required

£76 - £90 per day depending on experience / level
Unique School Solutions are supporting a Junior School in the S20 area of Sheffield to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work with learners in KS2.
The successful Teaching Assistant will:
- Deliver planned interventions and 1:1 learning activities for pupils needing additional support outside of the classroom or within the classroom environment
- Support learners with SEND or barriers to learning
- Provide a safe and calm environment for the learner to thrive
- Liaise with the class Teacher, SLT and external agencies when required
- Support the learner using positive handling techniques during times of challenging behaviours, crisis or emotional outbursts
- Use resources to support the learner with understanding emotions and how to channel their feelings
