TEACHING ASSISTANT (EARLY YEARS)

Early Years Teaching Assistant
Start Date: 18th April 2023
Contract Type: Fixed term until 31st August 2023. 5.5 hours per week
As a result of the expansion of our Early Years provision, with a newly opened third classroom, we are excited to be able to offer a skilled, experienced and flexible Teaching Assistant the opportunity to join our Nursery team. Although this is a part-time role in the first instance to work Fridays, it is highly likely that additional hours throughout the week will become available as Nursery numbers continue to grow; similarly, further opportunities beyond the Summer Term are likely to become available according to the needs of the school.
We are a welcoming, inclusive school community rated ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features by Ofsted. The successful applicant will:
- Have a positive impact on the attainment and progress of pupils;
- Undertake a range of specialised tasks to support the learning and development of pupils;
- Promote pupil independence and positive behaviours for learning through a ‘least help first’ approach;
- Have an appropriate level of expertise, qualifications and/or experience, including in English and maths, and a full and relevant Level 3 (or higher) EYFS qualification.
