The School: Teaching Assistant
The South West London Secondary school is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join an ‘outstanding’ secondary school and help support students for 5 days a week. The Candidate: Teaching Assistant
Do you have experience/training in learning support positions? Are you an aspiring teacher? Have you previously been a Teaching Assistant, HLTA, cover supervisor or had experience working with children?
In this Teaching Assistant role, you will be working with a student with ASD, supporting the student with their learning. Working together with excellent teachers, school staff and family of the student to help provide a nurturing environment for them to learn.
---WHAT YOU WILL NEED---
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Current DBS certificate or the intention to apply
- 2 quality recent references
- Experience working with visual impairment
- Proactive and positive attitude to strive for pupil development
---DESIRABLE---
- Relative certification/qualification
- University degree
- GCSE A*-C or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children
