The role
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking staff. The successful applicants will primarily be working with children either in small groups or on an individual basis within Beamont Primary School. This role is part time, with the possibility for more hours. The right candidate is required as soon as possible. This is a fixed term position.
We are looking for someone who:
- Can work collaboratively with other staff in the team in planning, development, delivery and evaluation of the effectiveness of the curriculum for the children.
- Can contribute to observations and assessments of children’s learning.
- Can adjust activities according to pupil learning styles and individual needs.
- Can communicate effectively with children, parents and other staff.
- Can develop positive relationships with children and staff to assist the progress and attainment of children.
- Has a positive approach to managing children’s behaviour.
