CMVM / MGPHS / USHER Institute.
Fixed Term Contract - Available from January 2023 to January 2026; Full-Time - 35 Hours Per Week.
The Health and Social Care Data-Driven Innovation Talent programme, based at the Usher Institute within The University of Edinburgh is looking for a Tutor who can support provide online teaching support to health and social care workforce studying for their continuing professional development and postgraduate professional development courses in data science.
The Opportunity:
This post will be part of the Teaching Organisation in the Deanery of Molecular, Genetic and Population Health Sciences (MGPHS) within the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine (CMVM). The post is a teaching support role within the Talent Health and Social Care (HSC) Data-Driven Innovation (DDI) team at the Usher Institute, which is one of five DDI Hubs as part of the Edinburgh and South East Scotland city region deal. The HSC DDI Talent programme delivers education and training to provide new data capability for the health and social care sector.

- Experience of teaching online
- Knowledge of R, Python and/or other relevant programming language
- Excellent oral communication/presentation skills
