Our client, a reputable primary school in Kings Lynn, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team in September. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the teacher in providing high-quality education to Reception and Year 1 pupils.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assisting the teacher in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons
Supporting children's learning and development through one-to-one and small group activities
Monitoring children's progress and providing feedback to the teacher
Helping to create a safe and stimulating learning environment
Supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) as required
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 3 months experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
A relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, CACHE Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
