Teaching Assistant at St Micheal's CofE Primary School

Contract: Fixed Term (until July 2023)
Please note this position is term time + 1 week position (39 weeks per year)
Working Hours: 30.83 per week
Pay: £10.98 per hour
Required to start: April 2023

St Michael's Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within the classroom at our friendly and welcoming school.

The role will include:

  • Supporting classroom teachers with the delivery of lessons
  • Assisting children with classroom activities, as individuals and in small groups

We will be pleased to hear from you if you can show us you:

  • Are extremely well presented and articulate, with good communication skills
  • Have achieved grade C, or above, in 5 GCSE subjects, including Maths and English
  • Have superb attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Are self-motivated, dedicated and consistent
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work with a variety of staff, students and parents
  • Have the ability to deal with challenging situations
  • Are a really strong team player and a flexible attitude
