Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 5 days

Irlam Endowed Primary School is a good primary school serving the Irlam community. We are an established school, with nearly 200 years of history. Our school’s four core values of diversity, resilience, respect and kindness embed our approach to supporting children and families.
Due to an increase in needs at our welcoming and inclusive school, we are looking to employ an additional TA1 to ensure that we provide the best pastoral and academic support to all children.
The successful applicants will be required to provide 1:1 support to a range of pupils with specific medical needs, physical disabilities and a range of learning difficulties and complex needs.
We are looking for applicants who have high expectations for all children and are committed to developing their full potential. Previous experience in working with pupils with additional and sensory needs is desirable.
Applicants are expected to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, possess good literacy and numeracy in order to support learning, have the ability to promote independence and confidence and be an excellent role model to all. You must have a caring, positive and flexible attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team.
