General Teaching Assistant responsibilities:
As a General Teaching Assistant, your role may include, but not be limited to:
- Providing support to individuals or groups of students to help them reach their desired levels
- Assisting students who may require extra support such as students with special education needs like ADHD, ASD, LMD, SEMH
- Attending relevant school meetings, briefings and events
- Liaising with parents, teachers, and external agencies to secure high levels of attainment
The successful General Teaching Assistant will:
- Possess a Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2 or 3).
- Be energetic and eager to help out students.
- Be able to communicate well with different stakeholders
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Have an updated CV with an enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one
