Autism Teaching Assistant – North West London
I am currently working with schools across North West London, seeking SEND Teaching Assistants.
Our schools are both SEND settings and primary schools that are urgently seeking an Autism Teaching Assistant to support their pupils to start immediately.
About the role:
The needs of the pupils they cater to range from:
- Autism and other cognitive needs
- Social and emotional support along with academic support
- Personal care may be required
- Some students will have behaviours that challenge
- Upto £90 a day
This is a full time, long term position, on a long term contract and there could be an option of a permanent offer.
You will ideally have experience in supporting children with special educational needs or will have a passion to work with students with special educational needs.
A background in psychology will be beneficial as well a knowledge of safeguarding, and skills with Microsoft Office. By being proactive and taking initiative, you are going to be able to build up relationships with students and gain knowledge of a wide variety of needs.
