Title: Unqualified Teaching Assistant - SEN School (Primary)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable SEN School in Bradford. As an unqualified teaching assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of primary-aged children with special educational needs. This is a permanent role with a September start.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage students in various activities, both in and outside the classroom.
  • Provide individual and group support to pupils who require learning assistance.
  • Assist the teacher in preparing teaching materials and resources.
  • Support the teacher with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience working with children is beneficial, although formal qualifications are not mandatory.
  • A can-do attitude and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions from the teacher.
