Monday to Friday 8.50am to 3.30pm with 30 minutes lunch break.
Warmsworth Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join the team and make a difference for children, including those with additional needs.
The Governors of Warmsworth Primary School wish to appoint a talented and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our support team. The successful candidate will be working under the instruction and guidance of teaching staff to support teaching and learning in classrooms to work with both individuals with additional needs, and groups of children, alongside other staff to provide personalised support.
This post will also include supporting children through the lunchtime period in a midday supervisor role.
Warmsworth is a large mainstream primary school, providing education for children aged between 3 and 11 years old.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an enthusiastic and motivated individual
- Have the passion to make a difference in our school
- Be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Be a team player with high standards of themselves and others
- Have experience, or an interest and understanding, of supporting primary aged children and Special Educational Needs and Disability
- Be able to lead learning in groups of children
- Have good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Mathematics to Grade C/Grade 4 or above.)
