Temporary Teaching Assistant (Maternity Cover)
28.75 hours per week, term time only
The Redhill Academy Trust Pay Scale Band 6, Scale Points 28-32 (unqualified) or Band 7, Scale Points 32-36 (qualified)
FTE: £20,257 - £24,212
Actual Salary: £15,094 - £18,041 per annum
Required from 17th April 2023
You will be joining a highly motivated and experienced team of Teaching Assistants who play an invaluable role in the life of our academy. Are you a Teaching Assistant who will:
Provide support and guidance to children and young people, in order to promote effective participation, enhance individual learning, raise aspirations and achieve their potential.- Have the flexibility to be able to work intensively providing one to one support to specific children with special educational needs, support groups of learners and work across the school as required.
- Have a wide experience of supporting children with Autism, ADHD and complex needs.
- Clearly demonstrate a commitment to inclusive practice and the determination to ensure every child succeeds at TCJA.
- Attend training and staff meeting opportunities as required.
- Build positive relationships with parents/carers.
- Show interest and commitment to self-development opportunities, such as attending staff meetings and CPD.
- Have knowledge of supporting phonics and early reading.
- As part of the classroom team, support the teacher with routines and striving for excellence.
