1:1 Teaching Assistant required
ABC Teachers are seeking Burton Upon Trent based 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to work within mainstream schools.
About the role
We have roles across EYFS-Year 6 where you will be working closely with the class teacher to help support pupils on a 1:1 basis with students with a range of additional needs including ASD and ADHD. You will support them with daily activities to assist them in reaching their full potential.

We’re looking for a qualified teaching assistant with a passion for supporting pupils and the ability to adapt teaching techniques from pupil to pupil dependent on their needs and abilities.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of 1:1 Teaching Assistant required you will:
- Have previous experience working with SEN or primary age children
- Have strong interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to cater to different children’s needs
- Be patient, calm and caring.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Provide two professional references, one must be from a relevant setting.
- Level 2 or above Supporting Teaching and Learning certificate or equivalent.
- Have a valid DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to pay for one
