As per Apprentice pay https://www.gov.uk/become-apprentice/pay-and-conditions ; Term Time Only Closing Date: 14/07/2023 Join the Kirton Primary School team as an Apprentice Teaching Assistant and train alongside professional staff to qualify as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This post is for 27.5 hours per week. Apprentice Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship level: Advanced, Level 3 Hourly wage Details can be found at Working week Monday to Friday term time only to cover the school day plus up to ten twilight sessions a year. Released one day a week to attend college. Duties to include: Working with individual children having special or particular needs, in accordance with the child's EHCP where appropriate. Working with groups of children as directed by the teacher. Providing support to the teacher across a range of child centred activities to promote child development and learning. Following and implementing the school's behaviour policy and any related policies and procedures. Assisting in classroom preparation. Maintaining and respecting confidentiality. Attending team meetings and training when required. Attending college when required and keeping up to date with coursework.
