Teacher of Biology
Full time
Up to 12 months temporary contract to cover a period of parental leave
Required for September 2023
Up to £48,450 per annum depending on skills, qualifications and experience
A well-qualified, inspiring and dynamic graduate is required to teach Biology. We have a thriving and innovative Biology department attracting over 130 students to one of our Sixth Form courses including A level Biology and IB Biology. A large number of students choose to go on to study Biology related courses at degree level including Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Psychology and Natural Sciences.
The successful applicant will be part of a team of eleven specialist teachers. The department is well-resourced and full support with induction and continuing professional development is provided.
All teachers are expected to contribute to the rich co-curricular life of the College, but there are no residential duties.
