Permanent Job - September 2023 start

Unique School Solutions are supporting our Partner Secondary School in the Barnsley area to appoint a Teacher of Geography to start on a permanent basis from September 2023.
The successful Teacher of Geography will be responsible for:
- Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
- Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
- Plan and Teach well-structured lessons
- Adapt Teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
- Make accurate and productive use of assessment
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
To be considered for the role you will:
- Have a teaching qualification including QTS
- Have experience of teaching, learning and assessment of Humanities to at least KS3/4
- A good understanding of curriculum developments
The school can support an ECT for this role.
