Complex Needs Teacher – Special School

As a Complex Needs Teacher at this school, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored lessons and providing comprehensive support to pupils with complex needs. Working closely with a team of teachers and classroom assistants, you will ensure that the individual needs of each pupil are effectively met. This role requires a teacher with previous experience in teaching children with complex needs and a genuine passion for helping them reach their full potential. Job Role:

• Delivering high-quality education and support to pupils with complex special educational needs
• Collaborating with teaching assistants and classroom teachers to plan group activities and provide individualised support
• Developing engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of pupils
• Making learning fun, interactive, and accessible for pupils
• Supporting the school's inclusive ethos and working closely with other staff members

Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum of 1 year experience teaching pupils with complex special educational needs
• Possess a Valid DBS on the update service, or be willing to obtain one
• Strong understanding of the challenges and needs of pupils with complex needs
• Calm, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching
