Position: SEN Teacher, Royal College Manchester
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year + 12 weeks holiday
Salary: £27,661 - £36,170 + Teachers’ Pension Scheme + benefits

Role Summary
Here at Seashell we provide care and education for children and young people (up to 25 years old) with severe, profound and complex learning difficulties and disabilities, sensory impairment and communication disorders and autism.
We have an opportunity for a talented SEN Teacher to join our expert team in our specialist Royal College. The post-holder will be responsible for a group of students both pastorally and educationally and be a line manager for a group of fantastic and committed Learning Support Assistants who make a difference to the education and learning of our amazing students every single day they come to work.

Requirements
· Previous teaching experience with students who have sensory impairment, autism and/or communication difficulties
· Previous teaching experience with students who have severe and/or complex learning difficulties
· Experience of differentiating the Curriculum
· Multi-disciplinary working experience
· Teaching degree or post graduate certificate (Qualified Teacher Status QTS or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills QTLS) or willingness to achieve
· Experience of behaviour management strategies and individual learning plans
