Salary: £24,830 - £41,122 (Pro rata £19,864 - £32,897).Incremental progression throughout the band is available

About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join this successful and highly motivated department at Eccles Sixth Form College as a Maternity Cover 0.8 Teacher of Animal Management. The department offers a varied curriculum from Level 1 to BSc with a strong focus on progression and is supported with a unique animal centre and keeper team to merge theory and practical learning. We have a strong staff team including biologists, Vet Nurses, and experts in ecology, conservation and genetics. The successful candidate will be able to bring their own expertise to this dedicated high achieving department.
The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in a related subject along with a teaching qualification (or working towards) and relevant vocational experience in the Animal and/or Equine industry. It is also desirable that the candidate holds a Master’s degree. You will have the opportunity to deliver on a wide range of courses across the animal and/or equine courses. The department deliver courses from Level 1 to Level 6.
You will be well motivated, responsive to change and innovative with good communication skills.
