Job description
- This Key Stage 1 Teacher role is a maternity cover for 2 terms, full time position. It starts in September 2023.
- We require an enthusiastic, flexible Key Stage 1 Teacher that will innovate and raise standards as well as attainment. A good sense of humour, the ability to relate and effectively communicate with young people are essential.

To be successful for this Key Stage 1 Teacher position, you will:
- Will hold a B.Ed. (hons degree) or Bachelor Degree with PGCE and have QTS status.
- Have previous experience working as a Key Stage 1 Teacher or within a primary setting.
- Have a good understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum including a thorough knowledge of teaching phonics.
- Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
- Have a passion for working with children.
- Provide a safe and healthy environment following safeguarding procedures.
- Innovative and resourceful teaching methods.

Essential Requirements:
- a minimum of B.Ed. (hons) or Bachelor degree with a PGCE and QTS status.
- A positive approach to Key Stage 1 teaching and be passionate about your area of expertise which is evident in your teaching.
